CHM 100 - Chemistry and the Modern World This course is an introductory course designed specifically for non-science majors. This course introduces chemical concepts at an approachable level and links these concepts to relevant real-world topics and modern issues. An understanding of general mathematics is suggested, but the course does not focus heavily on math. Topics include chemistry and the environment, chemistry of fuel and energy, and chemistry of human health. This course does not count as a science course for science majors.
