EDU 211 - Introduction to Differences in Learners and Classroom Management


This course is designed to equip future teachers with a fundamental understanding of the differences in the changing demographics of todays society and the implications that these may have for teaching and learning. Topics include differences in culture, religion, learning styles, learning abilities, socioeconomic status, language, ethnicity, gender, and other differences as well as effective classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning environment for all students. Field experience is required.
